This Thursday, January 30, from 5am to 7pm, WCCO Radio, Taste of the NFL, Land O’Lakes, General Mills and AgStar Financial Services are together again bringing you the fifth annual “Let’s Kick Hunger Day” Radiothon to benefit Second Harvest Heartland. The goal for this year’s event is to raise at least $200,000 – enough to provide 740,000 meals to local families in need.
Join us on Thursday, become a Hunger Hero and help us kick hunger by calling 877-886-4376, donating online here or visiting the live broadcast at the Mall of America. You can become a Hunger Hero by making a minimum ongoing donation of $10 a month or a minimum one time $120 donation.
There are still volunteer opportunities available for the morning to help collect donations over the phone at the Mall of America Rotunda. Shifts are three hours long and start as early as 5:15 am. Sign up here and join us for a day full of excitement and energy!
